What Should a Vendor Application Include?
A vendor application should include the vendor’s business name, contact information, seller’s permit or license information, what they sell, and an agreement to your event terms.
Whether you’re running a vendor market, holiday craft fair, or farmers market, here is some of the vendor information you may want to ask for:
- Business name
- Seller’s permit or license
- Email address
- What do you sell?
- Agreement to event terms
After collecting the main information, you can add questions based on your event and the type of vendors you accept.
For example, a farmers market may need to ask food vendors if they have the required health permits. You may also want to ask for social media handles so you can tag vendors when promoting your event.
Your vendor application does not need to be complicated. Ask for the information you need to review the vendor, contact them, and make sure they meet your event requirements.
