Terms & policies
The rules that govern your use of vendorapplication.com, what we do with data, and how billing works. Written to be read.
Terms of service
By creating an account or publishing an application through vendorapplication.com, you agree to these terms. If you are accepting them for an organization, you confirm you have authority to do so on its behalf.
You are responsible for the content of the applications you publish, the accuracy of the event details you list, and your dealings with the vendors who apply. We provide the software; the event and the relationships around it are yours.
You may not use the service to collect payments for events you do not operate, to publish applications containing unlawful or misleading terms, or to resell access to the platform without a written agreement with us.
Template license
The application templates published on this site are free to copy, edit, and use, including on other platforms and including for commercial events. No attribution is required and no account is needed.
You may not republish our template library, in whole or in substantial part, as your own template collection or lead-generation offer.
Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
Billing and refunds
vendorapplication.com is currently free for organizers. We do not charge a subscription or take a share of the booth fees you collect. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before anything is charged.
Booth fees you collect from vendors are processed by Stripe and paid out to your connected account on Stripe's schedule. Stripe's processing fees apply to each payment and are deducted under your Stripe account's terms. We do not add a fee.
Vendor refunds are between you and your vendors. Your stated refund policy is what governs, and you can issue a full or partial refund from your Stripe dashboard. If we charged you in error, tell us and we will fix it.
Privacy
We collect what we need to run the service: your account details, the events and applications you create, submissions from your vendors, and standard technical logs. We use it to operate and improve the product and to support you.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share vendor records with other organizers or with advertisers. We use a small number of processors, including Clerk for sign-in, Supabase for data storage, Vercel for hosting, and Stripe for payments, each bound to handle data only on our instructions.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to privacy@vendorapplication.com. We respond within 30 days.
Your data and vendor records
Applications, vendor submissions, and payment records belong to your event, and you remain the controller of the vendor data you collect. Payment records are also available in your own Stripe dashboard.
When you delete an application, its submissions are removed from your dashboard immediately and purged from our systems within 30 days, except where we must retain transaction records for tax or legal reasons.
Because vendors submit their information directly to you, you are responsible for handling it lawfully, including any insurance certificates, permits, or tax identifiers you request.
Liability and changes
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that any particular number of vendors will apply, that an event will succeed, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes are announced by email and reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Questions about any of this
Write to legal@vendorapplication.com and a person will answer. If you need a signed DPA or a vendor security review, say so and we’ll send the packet.
